Dec 23, Colombo: Sri Lanka Minister of Education Bandula Gunawardena has said
that the candidates of the G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) examination will have full
marks for the 19 questions that were leaked.
The Minister said that the examination would not be held again for the leaked
science paper. He said this was the procedure followed at similar instances
previously.
However, a science teacher who is an activist of the Ceylon Teachers' Union
said that the results would be deformed and finally it would affect the future
of the students.
Criminal Investigation Department yesterday remanded a tuition teacher who
was arrested for leaking 19 questions with multiple choice answers of the
science paper 1.
