A 15yrs dream comes true on Monday 15th July 2013. The dream canteen will be open tomorrow. Please see the latest photographs attached here. After long hard work from UK OSA members, finally the canteen will be open tomorrow with European standard. Thank you to the Founders Family for coming forward and donating 10 Lakhs towards this project. Also, thank you to Dr T Sivagnanam and OSA UK for funding the rest of the money required to complete this project.
This project was initiated in Selvi Teachers time and finally will be complete and open for use in Srikanthan Masters time. We believe both of them will be present at the opening ceremony. Also on behalf of OSA UK Mr T Ulaganathan (Patron of OSA UK), Mr Vinothan (OSA UK member and SAS Executive Committee member) and on behalf of founders family Mr Inthiraja (EDC Foreign Aids Co-ordinator) will be attending the opening ceremony.
This project was carried out by SDS and EDC members were standing shoulder to shoulder to complete this project. We have to thank EDC for organising up to 25000rps opening stock for the canteen for Bala Annai who has been running the old canteen for the last 37 years. Also we need to thank EDC for providing the necessary and important furniture for the canteen.
